Compact, reliable, and durable, the xD-Picture Card is a rewritable digital media that works with most manufacturers' xD-compatible devices. The Olympus xD-Picture Card is the only xD card that supports the panorama function found on most Olympus digital cameras.

With faster write speeds (up to 2 to 3 times faster) than previous standard xD cards (Type M), the Type H xD card saves and formats QuickTime® movies more quickly, reducing your wait time between shots.

And with increased storage capacities (256MB, 512MB, and 1GB), you can capture more images and movies on each Type H card.

When used in conjunction with Olympus digital cameras running OLYMPUS Master 1.4 software, Type H cards offer the ability to use special "picture effects" that turn your digital photos into watercolor, oil paintings, cartoon art, or 3-D photos. (Each Type H card comes with a unique authorization code for the software.)

The Olympus xD-Picture Card is about the size of a postage stamp, measuring 0.787 inches long, 0.984 inches wide, and 0.067 inches thick (20 mm by 25 mm by 1.7 mm).
