Targus is pleased to announce the addition of the CF Serial I/O Card to its handheld accessories line. The Targus CF Serial I/O Card is a Type I Compact Flash card that essentially adds a fast serial COM port to Pocket PC or handheld PC's equipped with CF card slots. The market demands expandability for today's small form factor PC's and the Targus Serial I/O card fills this requirement. General uses include attachment of modems, bar code scanners, magnetic strip readers, GPS receivers, digital cameras or other RS-232 serial devices to your handheld system. In addition, the Targus Serial I/O card consumes less power than any other products in this class. This feature ensures long lasting battery life for the host system.
