Its extended card path ensures reliable card reading. Messages are checked using parity and LRC prior to transferring to host. LED indicator provides continuous status of the reader's operation. The mode of operation (buffered or unbuffered) baud rate, RS-232 communication parameters, and user protocol can be set through the switch block.
